This policy explains what information Your AI Edge (“we”, “us”) collects when you subscribe to our newsletter, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain because that is how we like things.

What we collect

  • Your email address (required) and first name (optional, if you choose to share it).
  • Signup details: the page you signed up from, any campaign (UTM) parameters, any referral code, and your subscription status and timestamps.
  • Technical data: your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit and protect the signup form from abuse. We do not build an advertising profile from it.

How we use it

  • To send you the weekly Your AI Edge briefing.
  • To confirm your subscription by email (double opt-in) and to personalise the briefing with your first name if you gave it.
  • To credit the person who referred you, where a referral applies.
  • To keep the signup form free of bots and spam.

Legal basis

We process your information on the basis of your consent. You ask to receive the newsletter and confirm it by clicking the link in the confirmation email. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the newsletter:

  • Resend - delivers our emails and manages the subscriber list.
  • Cloudflare - provides the Turnstile check that protects the signup form.
  • Our hosting and database providers - store the subscriber records securely.

Cookies

We use a small number of functional cookies only to attribute referrals (so we can credit the friend who invited you). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we suppress or remove your record so you stop receiving emails.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any briefing email.
  • Access or deletion: email us and we will provide a copy of, or delete, the information we hold about you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
